Job Description

The responsibilities of a Test leader tend to include involvement in the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities and tasks. Desired Candidate Profile Develop test cases and automation scripts for core applications and new features and ensure defect-free release of the application. Review the customer requirements document the Test Plan detailing a systematic approach to testing including test scope, schedules, responsibilities, approach, reporting, etc Also provide inputs on the effort estimation for testing Ensure the test execution is as per the planned execution dates, and the quality of deliverables as planned. Also record the test results as required. root cause analysis and suggest necessary actions as required such as bug resolution, code optimization etc Ensure test defects are tracked to closure. Review and regulate progress (schedule, cost, quality etc) and meet performance objectives as per the project plans Prepare and circulate test metrics to stakeholders. Ensure supporting documents and knowledge base is created from testing results for further reference and that the defects are logged properly and test results are uploaded Mini. 7 years of Quality Assurance or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in Test Automation leveraging wide variety of tools. 3+ years of working as an individual contributor. Programming knowledge (Java/JavaScript/Python) and related standards (Selenium/Selenide/Robot Framework/TestCafe/Cypress/Playwright) Experience with real time exposure of Frameworks and associated DevOps tooling, Experience with setting up a test framework from scratch and improving existing frameworks Developing and maintaining test design documents and interface specifications Test automation of RESTful APIs and cloud solutions, including REST validation (eg. REST-assured, TestRail) Test planning, analysis, design, and execution Experience in working in Agile methodologies and Lean’ software development methods. Excellent communication skills.
